How To Choose The Right Colour Eyebrow Pencil.

If you’re looking to buy an eyebrow pencil, you probably have a lot of questions. What colour pencil is best for my skin tone and hair colour? How do I know if the pencil I’m using will complement my face? If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions, you’re not alone.

Choosing the right eyebrow pencil doesn't need to be intimidating. In fact, it's easier than you think. We've put together this guide to help you find the perfect eyebrow pencil no matter what your skin tone or hair colour may be.

To find your best eyebrow pencil, you first need to know what's going on with your brows. You might want to fill in sparse areas, cover gray, or simply add definition. If you already have full brows (lucky you!), you probably just want to clean them up with a little color.

Once you've figured out what exactly you want from your brow pencil, it's time to determine the perfect shade. This is perhaps the trickiest part of the process. The wrong shade can make your face look harsh and unnatural, so take your time here.

BEAUTIFIX Signature Brow Shades

Our brow range includes products in our four signature shades,

Light Brown, the lightest of the three, it matches the warm, subtle tones of a blonde or grey brow, yet is highly blendable. It’s ideal if you are fair haired or prefer a light and subtle brow.

Dark Coffee is a rich, warm brown. Perfect for anybody with warm, golden, bronze and copper hair tones.

Dark Brown is the perfect shade for all you brunettes out there, or anyone with a cooler skin tone.

Black Ebony is the darkest in our range. We've seen it work for women with naturally dark brows and hair, and anybody wanting a more dramatic brow. Used lightly, this colour can give a subtle dark tone; with more pressure you can easily intensify the shade.

Choosing Your Colour

Choosing the right shade doesn’t have to be tricky! Although our four shades are matched to either fair, warm or dark hair tones, it’s always a good idea to consider your brows. How do you like to wear your brows? Are they more natural and makeup-free, or do you prefer a more defined look? If the latter, opt for a colour that matches your hair colour, otherwise consider going one shade lighter. This will give you a softer look that almost looks like makeup-free brows.

There is such a thing as too dark. Always start with brow pencil one or two shades lighter than your natural brow colour. Then you can intensify that with a pencil one or two shades darker. You can use powder to blend the two, if needed.

The Brow Pencil You Can't Live Without

Our BEAUTIFIX brow pencil will fast become your favourite product in your make-up bag. Its fine tip mimics hairs for a finish that looks unbelievably natural.

Its super easy to use, the BEATUFIX brow pencil can be used on absolutely everybody. It’s all about the amount of pressure applied when using the pencil. The lighter you want the shade and hair strokes, the lighter you are with the pressure when applying. Simply apply more pressure for a darker finish.
